Everything Schlept does
One idea underneath it all: profiles are the source of truth, and every trip is computed from them.
Built for families
A profile for every person
Adults, kids, infants, and one shared “Family” profile for the stroller, first aid kit, and travel router. Each has its own item library.
Pack together, live
Everyone in the household sees the same list. Check something off and it’s checked on every phone, instantly — with “packed by” attribution.
Guests on a trip
Grandparents joining for Pesach? Invite them with a code. They see just that one trip and can check items off — nothing else.
Participant groups
“Full Family”, “Just Adults”, “Mommy & Baby” — saved sets of travelers, one tap in the trip wizard.
Lists that do the math
Quantity formulas
Socks: one per day. Shirts: 0.7 per day, rounded. Shampoo: one per week. Coffee capsules: two per day — a 5-day trip packs 10, automatically.
Tag-based matching
Items carry trip-type, season, and accommodation tags. A trip only includes what matches — no swimwear on the business trip, no laptop at the beach.
Accommodation-aware
The kosher hotplate, foil pans, and dish soap come along to the Airbnb and stay home from the hotel. Accommodation is a first-class concept.
Weather-aware seasons
Type a destination and Schlept suggests the season — hemisphere-correct, so July in Sydney packs coats.
Observant-family native
Shabbos counting
Schlept counts the Shabbatot in your date range — two Shabbatot means two Shabbos outfits, without thinking about it.
Yom Tov detection
The Hebrew calendar is built in: “This trip includes Rosh Hashana (2 days)” — with diaspora and Israel schemes.
Kosher kitchen kit
Self-catering stays automatically bring the hotplate, pans, and kosher paper goods. It’s the flagship use case, not a workaround.
Lists that learn
Post-trip review
After each trip: what you never packed, what you added on the road, what quantities you changed — one tap folds each lesson back into the profiles.
Quantity drift
“You packed 3 shirts on your last 3 trips — make that the default?” Schlept notices patterns you’d forget.
Templates
Start a new profile from a curated template, or publish your own library for other families to import. Packing notes always stay private.
Travel-day ready
Works offline
Install it like an app. The active trip stays readable with no signal, and check-offs sync when you’re back online.
Weight & bags
Assign items to suitcase, carry-on, or backpack and watch per-bag totals against your airline limit.
Share & print
Send a read-only snapshot link (revocable, expiring), export the shopping list to WhatsApp, or print the whole thing.
Your data is yours
Export everything as one JSON file any time. Delete your household and it’s truly gone.
